FAQ

How long does each therapy session take?

My sessions are 50 minute sessions typically and can occur weekly or bi-weekly. I do offer 30 minute sessions, also.

What is your theoretical orientation?

I am a relational therapist by training and am also an abolitionist, liberation oriented psychologist. This means that I believe that we are harmed in relationships and can heal in relationships. I tailor my approach to each client's needs and can be free-flowing and intuitive or more structured, depending on the need. My specialties include working with eating disorders, working with queer folks, gender affirming care, and religious trauma.

Do you offer sliding scale rates?

I do. My sliding scale ranges from 125-175 dollars per 50 minute session. I offer similar rates for consultation and supervision services for other providers, clinics, and agencies, unless otherwise stated in our agreed upon contract.

Do you have openings for therapy clients?

Yes. I maintain a small caseload of about 8-10 clients, but regularly have some openings available, especially for trans, gendernonconforming, and gender expansive individuals with a need to see a TGNC therapist.

What is the PSYPACT all about?
